Transportation has long been part of Michigan’s past, but it’s also part of our future. Our most recent Prosperity Agenda radio show on News/Talk 760 WJR focuses on transportation and the vital role it plays in moving Michigan forward. Our guests are co-host John Bebow, president and CEO of the Center for Michigan; Gary Heidel, executive director of the Michigan State Housing and Development Authority; Tim Fischer, deputy policy director at the Michigan Environmental Council, a state-wide environmental and public health policy organization; and Hayley Roberts, communications director for the Michigan Suburbs Alliance. All the guests discuss why transit is so important in Michigan and how it can contribute to attracting and retaining talented people to live and work in the state. They also will talk about the recent Michigan Transportation Odyssey project.
