Attracting and retaining a talented workforce is key to Michigan’s future. In this month’s Prosperity Agenda radio show on News/Talk 760 WJR we talked about how placemaking and different projects across the state are attracting and retaining talented young people. League CEO and show host Dan Gilmartin was joined on the show by co-host Jeff Gerritt, Detroit Free Press editorial writer. Show guests were Tremaine Phillips, chief program officer for the Prima Civitas Foundation; Matt Clayson, drafter of the Detroit Declaration and Director of the Detroit Creative Corridor Center; and Joe Borgstrom, director of the Downtown & Community Services Division for the Michigan State Housing and Development Authority.
